Barrhaven adds streets every year, and every one of them lands on our schedule eventually: sod for new builds, compact interlock patios, privacy cedars along fresh fence lines, and full small-lot designs in Stonebridge and Half Moon Bay.
Modern Barrhaven yards are compact by design, which punishes wasted space. We plan them tight: a patio sized to the table you actually own, planting that gives privacy without eating the lawn, and turf cut down to what a Saturday can maintain. The result lives far larger than the survey suggests.
New-build yards tempt shortcuts – the builder's grade looks fine, the contractor sod is already there. Two summers later the lawn is dead in strips and the patio from the cheapest bid has waved. Our Barrhaven jobs start with the boring fundamentals – grade check and soil depth – because doing it once properly is cheaper than doing it twice.
